DISLIKES: Being unable to come up with a quick reply, lying, time off (she never knows what to do with it), thick traditional robes (they hinder her movement), Lectures (Especially when they're directed towards her)
STRENGTHS:
Physical Control- More in control over her body movements due to intensive training in several forms of martial arts and has developed incredible balance.
Intelligent- Like most Vulcan children, she was encouraged to pursue intellectual arts over more physical forms, but she thrived most in musical arts, martial arts, and in memorizing and creating strategies relating to army and squad movements, especially when it comes to sorting exploration groups and with handling the random variables that can destroy the well-plotted mission, and at interpreting foreign languages. Her skills are best used in the field.
Musically Talented- Though not expected of most Vulcans, T'Laina can play her Vulcan harp with such talent expected of grandmasters. She does it mostly when she wishes to meditate peacefully, or when encouraged by a human friend who has never heard a Vulcan harp.
WEAKNESSES:
Prideful- She may be loathe to admit it, but her pride has got her into a fix quite a few times.
Overworking- T'Laina tends to overwork herself, and often doesn't stop her job until she is completely finished or just falls asleep with her eyes open due to exhaustion. There has been many a time where she has been halfway through a report only to fall asleep with her eyes open as she sits at a desk. Kind of creepy, but it happens for her.
Snappy- T'Laina tends to be quite snappy when she speaks, often coming off as if she is trying to be rude or mean to someone. She isn't, she is just rather blunt and forceful with the way she addresses and speaks to others.
GOALS:
-Become a Hand to Hand combat trainer at the academy.
-Marry her chosen husband and have children in due time.
OVERALL:
T'Laina is a hardened female vulcan, having been raised under a strict military commander and even stricter father. Due to this, she followed in his footsteps as a fiercely competitive person, with little acceptance for error in her life or others. However, despite this, she is kind and understanding of those around her, taking up some of her mother's attitude. She is known for being patient with those who are not her immediate enemies much more so than those who are her enemies, sometimes displaying the extreme emotion her people are known for holding back when in a confrontation or when an ally has been injured. All in all, she is approachable, yet she still keeps herself aloof and restricted from enjoying life like others may think she needs to.

OVERALL HISTORY:
Born on September 12, 2181 on Vulcan, T'Laina was a small yet healthy child, seemingly stunted from birth. The doctors of the time told her parents she might have little skill in physical activities due to her small and weak form. From a young age, she was encouraged to learn among her fellow Vulcans, and though her parents encouraged her towards a more scientific field, young T'Laina drifted far from the path Sitek and T'Luana had thought would be better suited for her.
The young Vulcan had watched her father practice martial arts with her uncles for years, and one day on her own, she approached her teacher about lessons. The teacher, though hesitant at first due to the girl's slender frame, began to teach her. Lessons were hard, but what she couldn't make up for in strength to match her fellow student's abilities, she made up for with stamina, speed, dexterity, and a strategic mind. Her parents were soon informed of her improving skills, and began to encourage her to follow the path she had determined for herself, her father going so far as to train with her when he had a chance to.
However, about the age of seven, her parents were faced with the task of finding her a future husband as was custom. He had to be a boy about her age, and able to balance her out. At first, they had issues as young T'Laina was still very headstrong and tended to be a little mean and rude to the young suitors who tried to show that they were compatible with her. As soon as Sitek and T'Luana were about to become fed up with their daughter's antics, they were surprised by a unexpected suitor who caught her interest.
Kuvak, a young boy merely a three months older than she, had brought his harp to one of the sessions in which T'Laina and he would interact. At first, she had scoffed at a boy playing the harp, but at his show of skill, she sat beside him on the bench and gently asked if he could show her this elegant art. It had started with a smile and a simple nod for a yes that would progress into a deep and understand relationship over the years. They were linked together shortly thereafter.
At the age of thirty, once she had learned everything there was to offer about Vulcan strategies and martial arts, and after attending college for a degree in Linguistics, T'Laina was accepted into the Star Fleet Academy. She gave her mother and other family a solemn farewell, and ventured off to Earth with her father, as he was going to Earth to work for his company. There at the academy, she became a recluse, shutting herself off from anyone who was not family or Kuvak.
Kuvak joined the academy after several years of pursuing a doctorate in Plant Biology, and they spent much of their time near each other. They advanced quickly together to Ensign and began together on the same starship. All was well, until the destruction of Vulcan, which took much of her family and mother. She doesn't speak about the people she lost that day, and always grows very silent when they are mentioned.
Pressure is now being put on her to go to New Vulcan, marry Kuvak and settle down. Their race consists of so few now, and though she knows it is selfish, she isn't ready to just 'settle down'. She still wants to travel the universe in search of new life, and protect those in pursuit of it. So, she signed on to join the USS Enterprise, and though she knows not if Kuvak will be joining her, she knows she is ready to step out into the unknown.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
((Sorry this is from a X-Men Rp))
Being twenty one gave a certain extra plus to life, namely of the alcoholic kind, which was exactly what Xinfeng had in one hand as she reclined back on the sands of the beach near the school, far from prying eyes, her gaze up at the star filled sky above. After opening the bottle and taking a few sips, she was slowly brought back to the memories of her and her brother resting on a much similar beach, staring up at a very similar sky. They had been younger then, and they hadn't strayed so far from each other's side at time.
She looked up at the stars, eyes soft as she set her bottle of vodka in the sand, thoughts racing through her mind as she moved her arms up under her head. What had caused them to separate? School? Her almost drowning? Or maybe when he went to a totally different college than she? But, he change had already begun before that, in their days at school where he tortured those who stood further down the totem pole than himself.
How had she not seen it, been prepared for it, especially once they had moved to Xavier's Academy. As she thought on it, she remembered the power hungry look in his eyes, the wariness the other students had around him. If she had noticed earlier, she might have been able to quell him, or stop him from becoming one of the Brotherhood. As much as she wanted mutantkind to have the same rights as humans, did it really take bloodshed to get what needed to be done, done and done right? Xinfeng had been assured by many of her teachers that it didn't take that, but then again.. Why would her brother have betrayed her and their family?
However, she had more important things to focus on it seemed, like the fact that SHIELD was going to recruit any able X-Men to help them stop a force unlike any other she had heard of before. As much as she would like to help, she was unsure exactly how much help she would be to anyone. She feared that despite her great strength, jade form, and other abilities, she wouldn't be of much help to SHIELD and their operatives. Surely, they had others with similar abilities.. Then again, maybe she was over thinking everything again and psyching herself out before she even got to work.
Her hand strayed back to the bottle and she lifted the vodka to her lips again, taking another sip, sighing as the liquid burned going down her throat. Finally, she decided it was best to relax and just do exactly what she had planned on doing when she first came out here. Stare up at the sky and reminisce on the good times she had, and maybe worry just a little bit less about the coming future.
Yea.. That sounds like the best plan right now.
