OVERALL: Cassandra is a very hard and deeply committed worker, she always had a passion for zoology and animals. Cass just cannot resist an animal she will have to go investigate it and generally try and make friends or observe it. Cass cannot resist a challenge, she in fact quite enjoyed Star Fleet Academy exams because they presented her with a challenge. She enjoys things that stretch her mind and test her abilities. Two things she cannot stand is when she fails herself and when other people just quit and basically give up. While not the bravest person in the galaxy, Cassandra would never abandon her friends regardless of the situation she found herself in. Cassandra is rather friendly, always seeming to have a warm smile on her face and ever eager to stop and chat with just about anybody. Usually she likes to talk about animals or zoology both subjects kind of slot into the same one with animal sciences being complicated like that. Cass is rather stubborn, sticking by her beliefs dogmatically. While sometimes being stubborn is helpful, this is not always the case when compromise is required.

OVERALL HISTORY:
Cassandra Williams was born April 18th 2336 to proud parents Linda and Thomas. She was their first born though three years later, Linda had twins in the form of Sally and Fred. For Cassandra life was great growing up in Devonshire, in the United Kingdom. Living in a rural environment Cassandera was often exploring, investigating the world around her at first under the watchful eyes of either one of her parents or a close family friend, but later as she grew older a wonderful dog named Honey. A present for Cassandra on her 10th birthday, the Golden Retriever puppy bonded immediately with Cass and the pair from then on became virtually inseparable. The pair would often roam in the countryside, exploring forests or old farms and wading through shallow streams and rivers.
Cassandra's education was good, it wasn't great but Cass made up for that with sheer hard work. Every exam she ever passed was a direct result of her blood, sweat and tears that she poured into succeeding. Cass at first wanted to be Zoo keeper however her father had served in Star Fleet and believed it fitting that the first born carry on the family's tradition of military service, this dated back at least one hundred years if not more, of her ancestors serving. After a long series of debates, arguments with a few more arguments, eventually her parents won, when Cassandra finished college she would enrol in the Star Fleet Academy.
Having studied Animal Behaviour at college, selecting Zoology at Star Fleet happened to be a rather easy choice for Cass to make. To her it made perfect sense, she loved animals yet by selecting it specifically to specialise in Cassandra could resume her dream of becoming a Zoo keeper when she retired from Star Fleet. At least that had been the initial plan. Upon making friends with numerous people, listening to their stories and reasons why they came, Cass paused to reflect and decided that she too would like to make herself something in Star Fleet. After all why just settle for a job then get out of it after several years? Why not go career and see if she could bet some of her friends from the academy to the Captain's chair?
Unfortunately for Cassandra she did have to resit several of her exams, despite her best efforts she failed more of them that she would of liked. Yet she managed to stay in the Academy, studying industriously and managed to pass every exam in the end. The feeling of failure became something she despised, it was an embarrassing situation especially when your friends passed and they hardly put any effort into the exam. Zoology was among the few that she did not need to resit, in fact she scored among the highest marks out of her classmates in Zoology.
Graduation was the proudest moment of her life, the warm feeling of triumph burned bright while pride made her smile wide and head held high. Cassandra found herself assigned to the USS Enterprise, a post that she was more than nervous about. It is one thing to study at an Academy it is another thing entirely to be on a real space ship.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
The wind howled mournfully as it ferreted through the skeletal remains of once grand structures, a light covering of ash fell from the slate grey sky. At first besides a few trees in an overgrown park and a sighting of a distant flying creature there appeared to be no sign of real life. Almost as if this city was dead and the ruins where just the bones of a powerful predator laid low by the passage of time and the grim cruelty of survival of the fittest.
A flicker of movement stirred in a rusty car, the doors where gone, along with the tires, engine and seats. Most things this close to her home station where taken by the early Stalkers, those brave men and women who journeyed up to the surface world to get the things those down in the Metro needed to survive. Alyona took another metallic tasting breath through her gasmask, nervously checking the time on her watch until she needed to switch to a fresh one, perspiration soaked her body underneath the protective layer of body armour and radiation suit. In her thick, gloved hands she held a battered looking AK-74, the weapon's barrel was covered in rags and on the right hand side it bored ten scratch marks, one for each mutant creature she had killed.
The problem with killing the mutant creatures was there never ever seemed to be enough ammunition to kill them all. What she wouldn't give to be back in the relative safety of her metro station, out of the suit and the armour, encased within them it was impossible to see her slender, athletic frame. Not that she really cared about all of that when she was on the surface, after all no one came to see the ghost often, those residents that now occupied the city well... They where more into eating than getting to know you or admiring how you appeared.
A distant roar of an animal caused Aloyna to freeze, bringing the rifle's butt to her shoulder ready to fire her dark brown eyes staring down the iron sites searching for any hint of movement that would indicate danger. She hadn't started this journey up her by herself, her companions however had not made it. Even though it had been twenty years since humanity purged the world with nuclear fire, the city still claimed more souls every day.
