A peaceful, warp-capable, humanoid species. The atmosphere they need to survive in is slightly different from that of the human species, but if weened on and off of it, existing in the same environment for a human is manageable. However, a Xyrillian will not survive for long in an Earth atmosphere. Luckily for the Enterprise, the ship is equipped to adjust the atmosphere in individual areas.  | |

The Xyrillian ship is dying. It's caught in a plasma field and is causing the species to unknowingly be responsible for power surges and atmospheric changes on the Enterprise, which has gotten too close in an attempt to analyze the data of the field. There is only one option – take a shuttle to the dying ship. It's believed that a shuttle, since it is smaller, will be able to withstand the problems of the plasma field. It's success will mean that the crew of the Enterprise will be the first to document the Xyerillian species – and for their help on ship repairs, they will equip the Enterprise with Holodeck technology. | |

Any character can sign up for this plot. No one is required to participate, but it will be fun! We will need people on the Enterprise, and an away team to take a shuttle to the alien ship. Xyrillians will also be useful, but the staff accounts will also act as NPCs to move the plot along. You may also NPC a Xyrillian provided it is not a member's character. If you want to make a Xyrillian specifically for this plot there will be a short application (which will mostly just consist of the name, species, and position on the Xyrillian ship) so you don't have to go through the process of a long application for a temporary character. Staff will also use their accounts to throw obstacles in your way from time to time. Please respond to this thread with any characters you want to participate in this plot. Also reply if you intend on making a temporary character for this plot. No code to fill out, just the character name(s). | |
