(I'll add a template once I get on a computer)
The Conference Lounge would seem to be empty if one were to pass by without paying attention. Though, if they were paying attention they would notice that the lights were on (dimmed to 50%). There also happened to be a certain Russian in the room. Said Russian had fallen asleep at the long table. There was a Padd laying next to his hand, the screen glowing softly. So if he were to be found, that would be how he looked, but the time was 0400 and not many were actually awake and walking about. Except for the later shifts, that is.
Pavel's hair was mused from the late hours and his sleeping. His navigation gold shirt wasn't fairing any better. There were dark shadows under his eyes and his eyelids were slightly irritated from being rubbed too many times. The ensign was sleeping deeply and soundly, the only sound was that of inhaling and exhaling softly. He shifted in his sleep and brought an arm under his head. In that hand he was limply holding a stylus. The Padd itself was his personal one, on the screen there were pages full of notes in Russian. It was a new project he had been working on-- one he had yet to tell anyone about.

you've got a fast car
is it fast enough so we can fly away?
The Conference Lounge was usually used for meetings, or for when someone needed a quiet place to work, but Renna had only just now completed her report and her instructions had been to make sure the captain gets it along with some of the others. She carried McCoy's report as well. Normally she would have given her report to McCoy to look over, but since he'd told her the captain had to get them all anyway, she had to take these to him when she finished her own. She had the Beta Shift, but they had switched into Night Shift hours quite a while ago. In fact, there were fewer hours between now and the Alpha shift than the time between the end of the Beta Shift and now. Renna had long since taken her hair out of her tidy bun on her head and her hair now fell blonde around her shoulders. She hadn't found the captain on the Bridge (she really hadn't thought she would, but going to his quarters was an absolute last resort for her) or his Ready Room, so she thought she'd try the Conference Room before heading off of deck one.
Of course she didn't find Captain Kirk in the room. He was likely asleep and she wondered if she'd get in more trouble for bothering him while he was sleeping or waiting until he woke up. Then again, she'd need her sleep too. Maybe. It seemed like sleep was vastly overrated for the people on this crew. All except for the one currently occupying this room. It was Ensign Chekov. He was pretty much well known through the ship – to some because he was a know-it-all, and to others because he'd helped get them out of sticky situations since he was a Navigation officer. But mostly, it was because he was the youngest person on the ship, let alone the Bridge.
Renna put her stack of PADDs on the table, with a semi-loud click sound. “You know, your bed is probably much more comfortable than the table.”

For moment Pavel wondered what that sound was. The next moment he nearly fell out of his chair as the voice startled him awake. "Net, ya ne delal nichego plokhogo!"1 He shouted out in Russian. He was breathing heavily and had an altogether startled look about him. Then he realized who it was and he calmed down. He gave the fellow ensign a small smile and sat up in his chair. "Ah, sorry, what did you say?" He asked, his accent thick with sleep. His face was a deep red now due to his outburst a few seconds before.
He looked over to the stack of PADDs she was carrying and wondered what she was working on. He glanced down as he remembered his own work and frowned as he read through his last few notes. He shrugged, saved what he had, and turned it off. He would fix it later. He put his stylus on top of the PADD and turned so he was facing Renna. As he took another look at the stack of PADDs Pavel realized that they were probably reports. Reports meant the captain. It took him another moment to notice that her hair wasn't up, but rather in a bun. He looked at his watch and nearly shouted in surprise. Alpha shift was soon and he had less than two hours of sleep. "O, net,"2 he said, startled once again. 1 No, I wasn't doing anything wrong! 2 Oh, no.

Ren jumped back a little. She hadn't intended to startle Chekov, but she supposed she probably should have figurered that would be the outcome. Who didn't get startled when they were woke from their sleep? But she was probably doing him a favor. If he was that out of it, maybe he would have missed his shift in a couple of hours. For the life of her, she couldn't understand what he was saying. The Medical Officer didn't speak Russian; she spoke Vulcan, but that was only because she had had to since she was 1/8th the race. Russian had held no interest for her. She didn't want to be a translator, she had wanted to work in the medical field. So whatever Chekov had yelled was completely beyond her. She assumed it was something anyone would have screamed had they been waking up, like I'm awake, I'm awake” or “What the hell do you want?!” but she had no real way of finding out unless she wanted to attempt to spell the phrase and put it into the computer. She might as well just forget it.
The girl smiled as Chekov seemed to calm down and asked what she'd been saying. She pulled out a chair and took a seat next to the stack of PADDs. “Just that I didn't think this was a very comfortable place to sleep,” she said with a small smile. Renna ran her fingers through her hair, trying to relax herself. Once she got these to the Captain she would head to her Quarters and sleep. She wasn't on the Alpha shift so there was no reason for her to stay awake afterward. Maybe she'd head to Ten Forward first to get some breakfast... or in her case dinner, but after that, it was sleep. She supposed she could have been there now, eating while she waited for Alpha shift to get here so she could hand over the work and be done with it. Chekov spoke again, and again she wasn't sure what he said. Something with oh but she supposed she could guess that the second word had been no, since he looked at his watch. “I guess it's a good thing you got some sleep wherever you could get it,” she said. “What were you working on anyway? No one else on your shift seems to be awake."
