If you indicate that your character is a Bridge officer, it may not be accepted. There are only so many places on the Bridge. But you are welcome to apply to be on the Bridge.

(Yes, I realize that starship crews are technically in starfleet, but I wanted to distinguish between Grounded staff and Crewmembers)
